Rizzuto’s role at Condé Nast was reduced in March when the bridal media group was unbundled.

-By Lucia Moses
Katherine Rizzuto, fresh from being named publisher of Condé Nast’s Brides, is jumping to Time Inc.’s InStyle to become vice president, associate publisher of advertising, InStyle confirmed.
Rizzuto’s role at Condé Nast was reduced in March when the bridal media group, newly under Bill Wackermann’s authority, was unbundled to strengthen the individuality of the brands with advertisers.
Rizzuto had been publisher of Brides, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride and Your Prom since October 2006, when the titles were organized under a group selling structure. The reorg left her with Brides. Jennifer Hicks, who had been Rizzuto’s associate publisher of the four titles, became publisher of the other three.
Rizzuto starts in her new job May 27. Her predecessor Lisa Jordan Helms in March went, as it happens, to Condé Nast, to be associate publisher of Vogue.
In other shifts at Condé Nast, new Gourmet vp, publisher Nancy Berger Cardone brought over Diane DePaul and Susan Bornstein as associate publishers from sibling title Allure, where she most recently was vp, publisher.
